Trade partners may negotiate and fix an exchange rate for a trade. The rate shall be usually near the nominal exchange rate. Any change in the nominal exchange rate after the date of the barter trade agreement shall be ignored by both parties, unless such changes are agreed to be adopted in the relevant transaction

A Fixed Foreign Exchange Rates Regime for Trade in Goods

Nations desire a stable exchange rates regime for cross-border trade. To achieve the objective, they spend vast sums of their reserves to maintain the status quo of their currencies. As propounded under the Econophysics of Currencies theory by RECIPRO with regards to a fixed exchange rates regime, the following rates as of 1st January 2021 are provided for traders’ adoption. The regime caters for trade payment settlements in both national currencies and barter trade. Traders have to prior approvals from their regulatory authorities before adoption of the regime in their international trade activities.
